Festivities

Oh my. I'm almost recuperated from one of the best days ever. This past Sunday was my all day long belated birthday event. Despite being inundated with work, and my own poor planing skills things actually went off rather nicely.

11:00 am Central Park, After a quick stop for picnic supplies I hit the Sheep Meadow. Not really expecting anyone this early it was excellent to just lounge out and wait for a while. Julie showed up soon enough and later Frank. We threw the frisbee around some and enjoyed the sun.

Around 2:30 we walked over to the zoo and were joined by Jeremy and Sarah, and soon ater Elley and Fred. Penguins, sea lions, geckos and bats later we were being shuttled out when we realized we had 15 mins for Sarah to find a llama. This occasioned a mad rush to the children's petting zoo and not a little hyperventilating.

Back to the Sheep Meadow and a longer more involved game of Frisbee ensued. Jeremy nailed a lady walking past while throwing to me - of course I got the skunk-eye. Whatever, you shouldn't venture onto the Sheep Meadow in summer unless you are wary of the vagrant frisbee.
